Sowed + Sweet was born to bridge the gap between indulgence and nourishment, offering desserts made with traceable, high-quality ingredients and a deep commitment to sustainability. The brand draws from a personal story of healing through food and a desire to create moments of comfort without compromise. The challenge? Elevating a small dessert brand into something that could feel artisanal, transparent, and modern without losing its soul.

Through full brand development, we clarified the brand’s purpose, crafted a visual identity that felt both refined and nostalgic, and transitioned its commerce system from Shopify to Square to streamline in-person and digital sales. A custom strategy repositioned the business not just as a bakery, but as a wellness-forward dessert brand that stands for intentional living.

The visual system centred on a hand-drawn monogram symbolizing growth and warmth, paired with a modern, gentle color palette and typographic system that balanced elegance and ease. Messaging was grounded in emotional resonance: clear, nurturing language that emphasized care, sourcing, and nourishment without sounding clinical or trendy.

To support the brand’s launch, we led a product shoot that captured both the beauty and story behind each dessert, showcasing not just the outcome, but the craftsmanship. Every element of the customer experience was designed to build trust and spark delight.
